Caryl Szeto is a current Environmental Science undergraduate student at SFU, with a focus on applied biology. Her passion for marine conservation and stewardship was inspired by her underwater scuba adventures and fostered by her experience as a streamkeeper at a local hatchery. As a volunteer in the Brown lab, she assists with project support including tasks like dissections and sample prep. Caryl enjoys learning hands‑on techniques that support the team’s research and is excited to be growing her skills.
