Irina Chua is currently in her 4th year of the Undergraduate BCIT Biotechnology program at the University of British Columbia (UBC). Prior to joining our lab, she worked at the UBC Proteomics Core Facility on various projects including assessing honeybee health using proteomics. During her co-op placement in the Brown Ecotoxicology lab she will be working on various omics related projects on juvenile Chinook salmon, as well as sample prep on killer whale prey which will be analyzed for dietary tracers and various contaminant classes.
